As part of our collaboration with the Cambridge Zero project, we spent a whole day creating artwork for a huge installation that will be created by the efforts of everyone across the school. Our theme is Trees: the insects within them, their dramatic lines and curves and the hope that they bring to the climate debate.
We also took a moment to recognise the sacrifices made by those fighting in all wars, past and present, during a whole school silence in the inner circle on Armistice Day.
And there was a huge change of gear when we gathered again for our Children in Need work out this morning, led by Pudsy/Mr Jackson. If you were not able to make it along, you can still donate to the worthy cause directly, or through Wisepay.
Long Multiplication has been our focus in Maths this week and it has been a real pleasure to see Polaris working so hard on this (often difficult) topic. Pages 37-40 will offer good further practice in Power Maths.
